The first round of our contest for the best photo of the year is over and we are glad to present you the winner - Eugenia from Italy.
Evgeniya is our first finalist in the competition for the best photo composition of the year, the final of which will take place in the first days of January 2018. The final prize is 5,000 USD.

We asked Evgenia a few questions that could help the participants of the remaining rounds to reach the final.
1. How did you promote your participation in the competition and gain votes?
I asked for support from friends, acquaintances, relatives ... I was surprised by such a response. Some wrote that they feel as if they themselves participated. When you have such an army with you, you won't be able to retreat!
2. What does winning the competition mean to you?
My children were rooting for me. The first question in the morning was: "Mom, do you win?" So I couldn't let them down.
Also, it’s like entering the ring directly with yourself, your fears, doubts and ambitions. There are a lot of beauties and worthy competitors on the site that we love, this spurs and motivates. For me, this is the first competition in my life and, despite all my doubts, I just decided to do it. And prove to myself that I can! And it could! Hooray!
3. What advice would you give the contestants for the future? What to do and what not to do?
Participating in the competition and being madly worried, being nervous, I am sure that you have to play honestly and not resort to deception ... Respect your competitors! "Dead and bought votes may help to win, but there will be deception on the conscience."
Therefore, my advice to future participants is not to succumb to the provocations of people who wind up voices. Seeing how they are rapidly gaining momentum, do not run to buy them too. After all, the system will still discern deception and eliminate these votes, just spend the money. And I have no doubt about the professionalism of Elena and her team.

- Remember that your photo, if it wins, will be in the final against 8 other photos. If you want to have a chance to win, it must be beautiful “like a postcard” and special.
- To make your photo look good on the contest page, try to keep your face roughly in the center of the photo when using portrait orientation. The program cropped the photo to a square and some of the girls had their heads cut off on the voting page.
- Check out the winning international and local photography competitions featured on Instagram. You can take a new photo and add it both to your profile on the site and to participate in the competition.
- Don't forget about an interesting and perky caption for your photo.... This will help you get support from randomly browsing site members and visitors. The caption is best done in English if you are hoping to get voices from male users. After all, it is with this inscription and the picture that you will be in the Final of the Year.
- Agree in advance with friends and acquaintances about support your claim to win. Each Facebook user can vote 1 time every 24 hours for one member during the last 2 weeks of the month.
Additions to the rules
Taking into account the results of the previous month, we made several additions to the.
Major changes:
- Adding to point 2: minimum photo size 300 pixels in any direction (horizontal or vertical). The jury reserves the right to refuse photographs of low quality or too dark, blurry or unclear.

- In all honesty, I will say that the victory in the regional competition "People of the Uspenskaya Land" was very unexpected for me. How do we live? We just work: honestly, from the heart, for ourselves and for people. You don’t think about awards and rewards. But, as they say, the management knows better. Thank you for the respect, honor and attention that have been shown to us.
I'm not used to sitting around, and I don't like it - it's boring. I always try my best to take part in regional and regional events in which the municipality needs to be represented. When you "spin" through life, then life goes on more prosperously. Yesterday my wife and I watched another newscast on TV and again discussed the topic of sanctions. Can't they "over there" (in the West) see that "here" (in Russia, of course!) You can't take a peasant with sanctions ?! Look at the counters of our shops and weekend fairs: it's full! Maybe in other industries the sanctions hit the manufacturer, but in private households they did not feel them. As we have worked, we continue to work. If we fold our legs tomorrow, what will we eat?

Success, luck. Actually, what is it?
I think luck is something that suddenly fell on my head for the wrong reason, and the next day something is so good. Unusual. And for nothing!
Luck leads to degradation of a person, while deserved success ennobles him! Indeed, in order to be successful, you do not need to do anything, and, therefore, you do not need to improve yourself. That is, dreaming of luck and relying only on it, your personality simply turns into a dystrophic patient who is not capable of functioning!
Another disadvantage of luck - it disconnects! If you want to achieve fame or others, then you don't need anyone, otherwise, God forbid, he will get more! This means that a person turns into a lone player. And the game itself becomes the goal of his life, which, in my opinion, is also wrong!
And success is completely different, it will be more difficult with it! In order for the business to be successful, you need to work hard! It is important to know that success is not a destination, but a lifestyle. You need to mentally create a certain image of success, which will be with you forever in the future. Thoughts are material and corresponding life situations will be attracted to you.
I realized for myself that the main thing is to be successful, you need to participate in competitions.
There is no need to be afraid of being a loser, there is no need to be ashamed of defeat, it still leads to victory. My mother has always told me since childhood: “Be sure to participate in competitions. If you won’t win, we won’t be surprised, but what if ?! ”.
And this "suddenly" happened to me often:
For the first time I won at the age of 8, participating in the competition of drawings on the asphalt for the Children's Day. Not because she was good at drawing, but all the characters, from flowers to little men, smiled.
My New Year's Cinderella costume, made of gauze, was recognized as the best in the third grade, but I was embarrassed by attention and ran away from the award - orange slices and a doll.
I first learned defeat at the age of 10, when I participated in a sports race and came last, my sneakers were untied and the boys were pushed off the treadmill. I remember our class started yelling at me that I destroyed it out of hope.
But a year of training and jogging around the house and I became a runner not only from class, but also from school for three years. Self-discipline has become second nature to me.
Then there was a victory at the age of 12 in the school theater, when I, wearing galoshes and a headscarf of my grandmother, portrayed Baba Yaga. And before that there were tears that I was not taken for the role of Alyonushka's sister. Gift - a book about cutting and sewing.
And there was a defeat in the regional chemical olympiad. And classes with tutors on vacation, reading, and then it helped in life.
I was losing at chess, I didn’t make it to the competition of urban poets, I didn’t go to the teacher's college. How many tears and what self-disappointment. But you need to try, look for yourself.
I learned to play the piano. I didn’t become a composer, but I play well and the music comforts my heart.
I entered a technical university and graduated with honors. But here it is not only my success and diligence - this is the dedication of my mother, who taught me.
I won the competition for the vacant position and am very happy with my job.
I took part in promotions and won an apron from cubes "Gallina Blanca", a beer mug from "Lvivskoe pivo", samples of shampoos in dances on the Yalta beach.
I realized that in order to overcome difficulties, you need to rejoice at the victories of other people, and admire that someone worked harder than me. One should not be afraid to be ridiculed. And laugh at failure. Here's a great rule of thumb for success: your life will only get better after you get better.
It is better to do - and regret, than not to - and regret.
If I lose, then I don't care how it looks from the outside.
Important for me:
1) make every effort, that is, do everything to win;
2) get a positive experience, that is, I am not so proud as to declare: "All or nothing", I can be on the sidelines;
3) not to blame anyone for their defeat ("Yes, they bought all the seats," "The judge condemned," "They were just given their paws," etc.).
If you don't believe in yourself and your success, how are you going to achieve anything in your life? Many people believe that successful people are confident precisely because they have achieved success and can afford it. And few people realize that these people achieved success thanks to their confidence. That is, confidence first appears, and then success. And not the other way around. Success doesn't stick to losers. It is very difficult to be confident in yourself when life is not going well, the job is not the same, and the salary is not particularly pleasing. But this is precisely where the strength of this test lies. Be confident and happy no matter what. And success and luck will not be long in coming.
Therefore, I will reveal for you a secret that people stubbornly refuse to notice: "Just reading books will never change your life."
Your life will only change when you roll up your sleeves and take action.! From tomorrow, become completely responsible for everything that happens in your life. You need to read good books and be a kind and helpful person. Only then will your life begin to change.
You just have to remember one very important thing. No one is better than you, and no one is smarter than you. Let me repeat these words again.

The Holy Dormition Cathedral of the city of Aksai is raising funds for a new belfry. It will consist of nine bells spreading velvet ringing throughout the city.
As you know, the financial situation of the parishes of the Russian Orthodox Church has always been not very prosperous. It depends
from the well-being of our people. Our people are rich - our church is rich. The people are destitute, so are the temples. Sometimes in churches incomes are lower than expenses, so churches are forced to turn to parishioners and people who are not indifferent to the problems of the church for help.
For many years there were no bells in the Holy Dormition Cathedral, despite the fact that the temple is the central one in our city. To date, the Church of the Assumption of the Mother of God has organized a collection of donations for the acquisition
and installation of the belfry. The total amount is quite impressive - almost 2,000,000 rubles. At the manufacturing plant, they made concessions and gave the temple an opportunity to pay by installments on the condition that the full amount would be paid within a month. Therefore, the council organized the collection of part of the required amount.
We ask all caring people to help the church in this blessed work. Let's put it together on the belfry, and the temple will have its own voice!

In general, I think it was my "finest hour". Thorough preparation and support of loved ones, students, my colleagues and mentors helped. You know, in many ways the teacher's victory is the merit of his students. The competition gave a powerful impetus to the beginning of the next stage of my pedagogical activity. At such moments, you realize how much still needs to be done for your own professional development and the development of your students. My teaching experience is 4 years, I feel a lack of work experience, so I would call winning the competition a gift for myself. And also, the competition gave me confidence in the correctness of the choice made in life - the choice of the profession of a Teacher. At the same time, winning the competition is a big burden of responsibility. I just can't work worse now!
Why do you think your submissions were among the best? Share your secret of success. What is your "highlight"?
| - In my opinion, the strong point of my application lies in the description of extracurricular activities. Although I am not able to lead classroom leadership at school, I am actively involved in public life. Schoolchildren are drawn to the young teacher, so we have a great responsibility to be a role model. I try by my example to instill interest in children in certain occupations. I like to include in the educational process new and original, not so long ago I mastered the method of using ICT in the classroom, taking into account the low technical equipment, and then generalized my experience at seminars and master classes for teachers of mathematics of the region. I am constantly looking for sources of inspiration and desire to work. I believe that everything you do should be done with a plus. |  |
How do you educate yourself? What forms of professional development do you use?
I participate in discussions at various educational forums, conferences. Exchange of experience with colleagues helps to grow professionally.
For 4 years of work, I took several advanced training courses in full-time and part-time in various areas (mainly at AKIPKRO, as well as at MCNMO). This year I will master distance forms advanced training, I will spend part of the bonus received on this.
